Elderly Care

At R & L Healthcare, we believe that there is nothing like your own home and that getting older should not automatically mean a loss of independence.

We offer our older clients a wide range of practical support and services. We can provide companionship and support, as well as practical help with everyday activities such as personal care, meal preparation, shopping and managing paperwork and personal finances. Our experienced carers are also highly trained to support those living with a Dementia, Parkinson’s disease and other age-related health conditions. We are also on hand to help our clients to manage their medications and appointments.

R & L Healthcare offer a highly personalised service, producing unique care plans for each of our clients, which are continually assessed and amended to factor in changes to health and circumstance. We recognise that people’s needs and wishes are fluid and are happy to accommodate any changes.

Our elderly care services can be supplied on a full time, part time, respite or even live-in basis and we like to see ourselves as an extension of the family unit where ever possible. We appreciate that with the best will in the world, extra help is often needed and there should be no guilt attached to that.

Dementia Care

We also provide care services to the growing number of people who have been diagnosed with Dementia. We recognise the challenges that people living with Dementia and their families face. Our aim is to offer professional care to address these in a person-centred way. We aim to support individuals to cope with dementia in their own homes, with a support service that meets all their needs. We are sensitive to our clients' life experiences and cultural preferences in our duty to help enhance their quality of life.

We can provide a range of support services that are designed to reflect the individuality of the people we support. Our support and care services build on people's strengths and abilities to maximise their independence.

Families play a vital role in caring for their loved ones, and our duty of care to our clients ensures a healthy partnership with family members to provide a service that enables their relatives to continue to live independently at home. This partnership also involves active co-operation with the relevant key sector professionals.
